Unlike some of you, I haven’t been watching Regular Car Reviews regularly. I watched a few back in 2013 or so, and never really got into them. However, I had to watch the Volvo C303 video from earlier this week, and I really enjoyed it. I went back and watched some more of their stuff, and they’ve done some great videos (and re-ignited my interest in Ford Falcons.) Anyway, since I missed a ton, which should I watch? I’ve included some of my favorites here.

I enjoyed the Vagabond Falcon build videos, but as for reviews, I think he really hit the nail on the head with the
C5 Corvette review
.

The GN review just makes me really happy, and I plan on owning a Phaeton someday. The Town Car one basically sums up all my feelings on American luxury cars.

The judgmental car show videos are usually hilarious as well.
Although the one posted this week wasn’t as good as the rest.

The early ones, when he’s not really trying to legitimately review the car so much as just be tongue-in-cheek and funny. The RAV-4 one is pretty good.
Somewhere along the line, he started to actually make legitimate, if odd-angled, reviews of the cars and lost the funny. When he tried to return to form with another Harold Slovinski review, his audience (most of which apparently don’t get it) basically boo’d him off the stage and he had another version of the video ready to go with proper (for RCR) review because he knew that would happen.

You know that’s me and my Phaeton in the video, right? If you plan on buying a Phaeton, I’m happy to talk your ear off!

Haha, I know it’s you. I’ve basically memorized its Wikipedia page. Sadly, I am in no position to even think about getting one now. Maybe in the far future when I work at Google and make $120k a year I’ll be able to afford not only the car, but a dealer oil change!

A dealer oil change runs about $150, but you only need it every 8,000 miles!

Really? That’s actually very impressive. It’s such an achingly cool car. It also has one of my two or three favorite interiors of all time, especially the new models like this one.

The one about the Toyota Corolla AE88 that we got and the AE86 that we didn’t get was a good one. Its nice to make sure certain car fans get knocked back into reality.
